Making sugar scrub bars is really easy – you will need just 5 ingredients and 2 items of equipment to make sugar scrub bars.
What you need to make these pear scented sugar scrub bars
To make two bars using the same mold you will need:
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/16 pound (1 cube) clear glycerin melt & pour soap base
- 1/4 cup pure cane sugar
- Molds (I like these flower ones)
- 5 drops pear scented fragrance oil

- Glass measuring cup
Directions
Melt your soap base in the microwave on high for about 15 seconds.
Mix in the olive oil, sugar, fragrance oil and soap colourant. Stir well. If it is starting to thicken then you can put it back in the microwave for 5-10 seconds.
Pour into your mold and let set for about 1 hour.
Pop bars out of mold and store in an airtight container.
These would look great given as a gift in a presentation box or glass jar.
