If you are looking to contact Yodel then you might have no idea where to start. Unlike trying to contact Evri, getting in contact with Yodel is a much easier process as they make it so much easier to get in touch.
Years ago, Yodel were hands down the worst delivery company out there. The complaints were awful, from name-calling random people on the street to pooping in a customer’s garden, Yodel Hell have chronicled a lot!
Things have improved drastically since then, and now when I see that Yodel are going to be delivering my parcel I am much more confident. I love being able to track my parcel and getting a text with the delivery window.
However, things don’t always go right, and if you find yourself needing to contact Yodel then here are the details you need.
Yodel horror stories on Twitter
Eeep, when Yodel get it wrong, they really get it wrong, as shown in these tweets:
@AsdaServiceTeam can you help please due to get delivery from yourself via Yodel, just checked tracking and it says delivery attempted and card left. This is untrue as I’ve been in all day. Unable to contact Yodel via chat been waiting to connect for 20 mins.

I don’t tend to have issues with them. Yodel on the other hand, they are fucking making it up as they go along. Sometimes they decide to put your delivery out and other times they just can’t be arsed. I even had a delivery made to work last week by a driver sporting a

Contact Yodel via phone
To contact Yodel via phone, simply ring them on 03447550117.
Ringing an 0344 number might put you off – wondering how much the phone call will cost you.

The great news is that calling an 0344 number from your landline or a mobile phone with minutes included in your plan shouldn’t cost you a premium.
Of course this depends on the contract or plan you have. Calling from a landline in peak hours will be charged at your usual rate per minute (and BT may charge you a set up charge) and 0344 numbers are included in most mobile phone contracts’ minutes.
Contact Yodel via webchat
Another method of contact is to use Yodel’s dedicated webchat service located on this page.

The Yodel webchat is available on weekdays between 8am and 8pm, on Saturdays from 8am to 6pm and on Sundays from 9am to 5pm.

Contact Yodel courier who is delivering your parcel
Yodel are a great delivery option as they sometimes give you the chance to call or text the courier making your delivery.
If this option is available to you then you will see the option to contact your driver on the tracking page.
Contact Yodel via email
If you have exhausted all other options then you might want to get in touch via email.

As part of the complaints process you can reach them via email at ceocomplaints@yodel.co.uk.
Yodel lying about delivery
Yodel have been accused of lying about delivery OR lying about attempted delivery.
As you can see from some of the tweets above, Yodel have stated that deliveries couldn’t be made when people were sat at home waiting for their delivery.
Does this mean that Yodel are lying about delivery attempts?
Not necessarily.
If you think that Yodel are lying about delivery or an attempted delivery then it is a good idea to check any safe (and perhaps unsafe) spaces where a parcel may have been left.
Also be sure to check whether your neighbours have taken in your parcel.
If you still cannot locate your parcel then contact Yodel.
One Response
On Friday 11th July Yodel gave me a late afternoon delivery time for a package I had been waiting ten days for. This did not happen. When I enquired as to why not, I was told that I had refused to accept the package on my doorstep and that it had been returned to the sender. NOT TRUE. Why should I refuse to accept a package the contents of which have cost me £63.68. I was assured that enquiries would be made at the local distribution centre and that they would keep me informed. I have received nothing from them. Is the day and time significant?? Late afternoon on a Friday??
I have e- mailed the sender to see if they have received the package and await their reply. I was warned never to send anything via Yodel, but we have no control over who is meant to be delivering stuff to us.
