It’s the most wonderful time of the year and the season where amazing memories can be made. Remember back to when you were a child and the magic and wonder of Christmas. One of the annual traditions for many is writing to Father Christmas. Telling him if you’ve been a good girl or boy, you’ll leave a mince pie out on Christmas Eve and requesting the gifts you want. Let’s have a look at how to get a free letter from Santa.
A Letter Via Royal Mail
Did you know that Royal Mail has some of Santa’s elves stationed with them during the festive season? By writing to him at the address below, by December 10th, you’ll get a reply sent to your address. Be sure to remember the full names of the kids and the address for Santa to send his reply to. Include more details and it can be quite a personalised reply! If you can’t wait for the reply or leave it too late, you can download and print off the card he will send via the Royal Mail website. They cannot 100% guarantee a reply will come, however most replies are received within 10 days.
Obviously, the closer to Christmas, the busier the elves get, so get your letters in early! There is also the ability to get a reply in Welsh should you wish. Technically it isn’t 100% free because you have to put a stamp on your letter. However for the sake of a first or second class stamp, it’s a great way to get a free letter from Santa.
At this time we’re not sure the exact date you can start sending letters, however it’s usually open from the end of October. The address you need is as follows.
For Visually Impaired Children
Everyone is included at Christmas time and The Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) ensure that braille, audio or large print letters can be received by children who need them. Smiling faces all round! You can complete an online form or write to them at the address on their website. There is no charge for this however the RNIB would love you to make a donation if you are able to.
A Free Personalised Video
Thirdly, how about getting your kids a free personalised video from the big guy in the red suit? Head over to Portable North Pole (PNP) and you can create a video for your children to watch. Add their names and other details to make it personalised with that extra sprinkle of Christmas magic. You can also get the PNP app on your phone.
Track Santa On The Big Night
Christmas Eve is the big night itself. Will he visit? Will he be delayed? Where has he already been in the world? You can track Father Christmas with a little help from Norad. Kids of all ages will love seeing him journey and it might just convince them to close their eyes and go to sleep, knowing he’s on his way. This is a great way to ensure he is planning a visit after you’ve received from free letter from Santa.
As you can see, there are so many ways to get a free letter from Santa or quirky alternatives. In conclusion, you can use these services to help keep the magic alive this festive season. We believe.
